Who doesn’t love watching the effects of a snow globe?! This is an easy and great alternative, a calming glitter jar for kids!
Supplies:
- Sealable container (if you are making this for or with kids a plastic option is best). I used a mason jar, but that’s because I’m not a kid!
- Glitter – I recommend getting your child’s favorite color
- Glitter glue – again, your child’s favorite color
- Water
Directions:
- Clear a space and put down some newspaper to catch any stray glitter.
- Use a measuring cup to figure out how much water will fill your bottle to ¾ full. Use that measurement to fill your bottle with warm water.
- Add one to two tablespoons of glitter glue for every one cup of water.
- Add the glitter until it accumulates to a ½- to ¾-inch at the bottom of the jar.
- Close the bottle and seal it with glue.
- Shakey Shakey, baby!!
Enjoy the quiet while your child is mesmerized by this calming glitter jar for kids!!
